Bath Spring Flower Show (1 - 3 May 2010)

Bath Spring Flower Show is set to take place over May Bank Holiday weekend (1-3 May 2010), in the beautiful surroundings of Bath's Royal Victoria Park, and is offering brilliant opportunities to those hoping to bring groups along to enjoy the show.

Highlights of the show this year include stunning plant and flower exhibitions in the main Floral Marquee by some of the country's leading nurseries, first class British farm produce, home baked cakes and preserves will be available for tasting and purchase. Cookery demonstrations by leading chefs will also take place and there will be entertainment a-plenty, with bands providing entertainment throughout the event and a Children's Activity Marquee for the under 5's will keep the little ones captivated.

Bath - City of Festivals

Bath International Music FestivalA packed programme of festivals and events awaits visitors to Bath throughout 2010 from lively conversation and debates at the Bath Literature Festival to world class performances at the Bath International Music Festival.

Other highlights include the fusion of Art and creativity at Bath Fringe Festival and Europe's largest regency costumed promenade at The Jane Austen Festival. The year concludes with the Bath Christmas Market - A truly unique shopping experience in the heart of the city.

Bath Comedy FestivalThe second Comedy Festival will take place in April. With over 200 acts taking part this exciting festival will take place at various venues around Bath and spill out onto the Cities historic streets. From stand up to street theatre, farce to silent movies, mime to cartoons, from buskers to celebrities and workshops, this explosion of light-hearted entertainment will be celebrating the art of making people laugh.

Komedia

Komedia, BathKomedia Bath is located in the centre of the city in the much-loved Beau Nash Picture House, reinstating it to its former glory as a venue for entertainment and pleasure.

Spa Revival

A demonstration evening at the Bertinet Kitchen, BathOwned and run by French chef and baker, Richard Bertinet, The Bertinet Kitchen offers a range of relaxed and fun courses for food lovers of all abilities.
One of the most popular courses on offer is a two-part bread course based on Richard's book Dough, where individual's can learn to make great oven baked bread.
